What same-day actually means

Same-day pay doesn't mean money appears the instant a shift ends — it means a caregiver who submits their hours by the program's cutoff time can have that shift's pay processed and available the same day, rather than waiting for a standard biweekly cycle.

How a single shift moves through the system

• The caregiver clocks the shift through the time-tracking system as it happens or immediately after
• The submission is checked against the approved care plan hours for that period
• Once verified, the shift is queued for the next same-day payment batch
• Funds are released to the caregiver's linked account, typically the same business day if submitted before the daily cutoff

Where the timing can shift

A few things push a shift out of the same-day window: submitting after the daily cutoff, a mismatch between logged hours and the authorized care plan, or a first-time payroll setup that hasn't fully cleared yet. None of these are penalties — they're just verification steps that take a little longer the first time around.
